Senior Consultant in Investor Relations, Strategy and Corporate Finance, he is considered one of the leading authorities in the discipline of Investor Relations, both professionally and academically. With more than 36 years of professional experience mainly at Telefónica, he has been Deputy Director General and Chief of Staff of the Executive Presidency of Telefónica, and also assumed executive responsibility for constituting and developing the department of Telefónica Investor Relations for more than six years as Deputy Director General. He has participated in the preparation and execution of IPO transactions, initial public offerings, public offers to sell shares, capital increases, issues of debt instruments, both of Telefónica and its subsidiaries in Latin America and Europe, as well as in mergers and acquisitions of companies.
He holds a doctorate in Business Economics and a degree in Economic and Business Sciences, both from the UAM, and a Diploma in Senior Management (PADE) from IESE. Since 2008 it is Academic Director of the Advanced Investor Relations Course organized by the BME Institute (19 editions). He was also a founding member and president of the Spanish Association for Investor Relations (AERI), of which he is currently an honorary member. Regular speaker and collaborator in forums and courses, as well as in media specialized in financial markets. Former member of the editorial boards of the economic weekly Inversion and of the ECONOMISTAS Magazine of the Official College of Economists of Madrid.
